Indoor, PoE, or doorbell: which REOLINK camera should you get?

They all record in high definition, but they split on where you mount them, how they're powered, and how much area one camera covers. Here's how the five models actually differ — and which one fits your setup.

Frequently asked questions

The quick answers to the questions we get most about REOLINK cameras.

Which REOLINK camera should I start with?

For indoor baby/pet monitoring, pick the E1 Pro. For a wired outdoor setup with zoom, choose the RLC-811A. For covering a wide area with one camera, the Duo 3 or TrackMix are the strongest.

Do REOLINK cameras require a subscription?

No. REOLINK cameras record to a local microSD card (up to 512GB on most models) with no monthly fee. Cloud storage is optional on some models.

What is the difference between PoE and Wi-Fi models?

PoE cameras get power and data over one Ethernet cable, which is more reliable for outdoor 24/7 recording. Wi-Fi models like the E1 Pro are easier to place but need a power outlet.
